USR 微型課開張了—服務學習與志工服務的第一次接觸 USR Micro Course Opening--First Encounter of Service Learning and Volunteering (2020/09/15 高雄，季慕華撰稿) USR微型課於2020/09/15 首次上課，團隊三位老師廖俊芳教授、徐慧韻教授、季慕華老師，率同計畫助理林思如和李世國課程助理，接力向學生說明課程設計，共有46位學生出席，踴躍參與本次課程活動。首先由廖俊芳教授說明課程緣起與服務學習概論，學生藉由小組討論進行破冰，認識彼此。隨後徐慧韻教授介紹課程安排，細說反思架構和內在的深化機制；季慕華老師則說明國內醫療志工服務概況與國際志工服務與招募。助理林思如和李世國課程助理則以學長姊身分分享服務經驗，尤其李世國目前擔任文藻崇她社秘書長，打破性別限制，也替未來USR 永續經營開啟新願景。最後，提供線上資訊深入認識本計畫工作內容，團隊期許學生能夠積極結合專業與微型課實作學習回饋社會，並參與國際志工服務與甄選。

 

 

(2020/09/15 Kaohsiung, by Yolanda Chi) USR micro course began its first class on Sep.15. All three teachers, Prof. Melody Liao, Prof. Elodie Hsu, Ms. Yolanda Chi, together with Project Assistant Ms. Jollis Lin and TA Amos Li, took turns to present the design of the course. A total of 46 students attended the class and participated actively in the in-class tasks. Prof. Melody Liao began with the origin of the course and the theories of service learning and students were required to break the ice and get to know each other through group discussion. Then Prof. Elodie Hsu explained the detailed arrangement of the course, illustrating the framework for critical thinking and the internalization mechanism. Ms. Yolanda Chi continued with the work of hospital volunteers and international volunteers in our USR programs and the current recruitment for volunteers. Project Assistant Jollis and TA Amos shared their experiences as advisers to new participants. In particular, Amos is currently the General Secretary for Wenzao Zonta, who broke through the stereotype and created a new vision for the sustainability of USR operation. Finally, by offering online information for students to learn more about our USR projects, USR team expected students to combine their professionalism with hands-on learning from this micro course to feedback to the society as well as opting for participation in international volunteering.
